For this reason, we aim to operate with fixed rates and offers, whenever possible!

Our hourly rate, if a fixed rate is not possible

We prefer to offer our clients fixed prices, but for some of our services - the billable hour still makes the most sense. However please note;
- Our hourly rate is € 335,- and we bill down to 5 minute intervals.
- We only bill for counselling done by an attorney at law.
- We do not bill you for reading your e-mails (as is standard at most law firms).
- We do not bill you for our administration tasks (archiving or logging of mails is not something we believe the client shall pay for).
Our fee for an EU Trademark Application
excluding VAT, where applicable

Please note that EUIPO's fee for an application in one class only, is currently EUR 850,-, meaning at total cost including our fee would be EUR 1.525,-
Please note that our fee includes the following:
- An Attorney at Law's determination on whether mark is eligible for registry.
- ID Check Service (we look through the public database, to check for whether an identical mark is already registered in same class(es).
- An Attorney at Law's drafting of the list of goods/services for the relevant class.
- Filing of the application.
- Responding to Non-Substantive Office Actions.
- Sending the registration certificate (many IP firms charge up to 200 euro for such service).

At Jessels Law Firm we will always perform a thorough an examination of the case, before offering our fixed rate for our litigation services in relation the the particular case.
Please note that the rate is always based individually on the complexity and expected work load associated with each particular case. Typically our litigation costs varies in the range between EUR 10.000,- & EUR 27.000,- for a normal litigation service from start to finish, before a local city court in Denmark. This rate will include all legal proceedings and correspondence with the client, all legal briefs and the drafting of all legal documents demanded by the Court, preparation of the court hearing, including preparation of witness question and closing arguments, and the final court hearing including transportation to the court in question within the territory of Denmark.
Our rate will typically be lower in so called small cases (case value of up to € 6750), but can also be higher, in the event the case would require a co-counsel for complex matters - for example if the case needs to be moved to the Danish Maritime- and Commercial Court.
